Dr. Charles Davis

Charles Davis lives in Winfield, IL, with his wife, Kristina. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2021, giving thanks for the love that comes from Jesus. They have three married children and six grandchildren.

Charles was born in Pakistan, lived there for the first sixteen years of his life, and then, after graduating from the University of Michigan and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, he and his wife worked in disciple making and church planting in Venezuela for 20 years. Later he served as the International Director of The Evangelical Alliance Mission.

His passion is helping others understand the role of culture in church and mission. In this pursuit he has written a book, Making Disciples Across Cultures, published by IVP, and continues to work with churches and global workers who want to apply cultural insights into the questions of evangelism, discipleship, and church.
