The Christmas season is a time of generosity and one of the greatest examples of generosity is found in Mary, the mother of Jesus. She personified generosity, but not in the financial sense. She was generous in the sense of giving up herself, her reputation, and her status in the immediate moment, to serve and fulfill the purpose of God.
